CARL D. PERKINS BRIDGE INSPECTION
The Carl D. Perkins Memorial Bridge is a warren cantilever through truss bridge that spans the Ohio River between Portsmouth, Ohio and Greenup County, Kentucky. It was built in 1988 and named after the late Carl D. Perkins, a US Congressman from Kentucky.
This project was conducted in March of 2007 and was the very first bridge I ever inspected using rope acess.
