BURRO CREEK BRIDGE INSPECTIONS
BURRO CREEK BRIDGE INSPECTIONS
The Burro Creek bridges are parallel deck arch bridges, each carrying a single direction of US 93 traffic, half way between Phoenix and Las Vegas. The arches are roughly 700 feet long and the decks sit about 400 feet above the Burro Creek Gorge.
The silver painted steel bridge carrying southbound traffic was built in 1965 and the weathering steel bridge carrying northbound traffic was built in 2006.
Rope access and a snooper truck were used to inspect the bridges.
